In-Office iPad Application - Zero Data Entry
Practices will have access to the Patient Pending iPad application for in-office use only. The iPad will be set to guided access and given to patients in the exam room prior to the consultation with the doctor. The patient will watch a short educational video about their procedure and/or medical options and then be directed to answer survey questions related to their lifestyle and activity goals.
Once the survey is completed, the survey, the doctor will review their answers and then the iPad will be reset for the next patient. No patient information is collected in this option. Beyond the survey, no personal information shall be requested or required from patient.

Practices will provide Patient Pending with videos (up to :30 seconds), emails and/or text messages (SMS only) and their satisfaction survey to aid in collecting patient satisfaction feedback. Practice administrators will manually enter patients into the system via single data entry or by uploading a CSV file downloaded from the EMR or practice management system. Patients will be sent a series of communications with the satisfaction survey included. If, at any time, a patient completes the satisfaction survey the remaining communications will be cancelled from the schedule. If they do not complete a survey, then they will continue to receive the communications.
